Rostering Supervisor

We are looking for a Rostering Supervisor to join the team at New Horizons on a Part Time basis (32 hours / week). The position is located at our Head Office in North Ryde. 

As our Rostering Supervisor, you will ensure frontline staff are utilised efficiently so our customer have the level of support they required. You will ensure cancelled shifts are filled quickly, respond to team enquires and escalate incidents to Management/stakeholders appropriately.

Our team operate Monday – Sunday 6am – 8pm with the team typically working a rotating roster in order to support the business who work 24/7. You will supervise the team 3 evenings per week 4pm – 8pm and on the weekend (Sat & Sun ) 10 hours shifts with some on-call.

 

You have

  •  Experience in rostering or scheduling ideally in a 24/7 business,
  • Ability to adapt quickly and calmly to unforeseen changes in staff availability and manage emergency replacement requirements
  • Strong team player with a proven ability to work both, independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and able to adapt communication strategies to different stakeholders.
  • Be available to work evenings and on the weekends

Please note you will require a Police check, a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a NDIS Worker Screening Check to work at New Horizons.
