Billings Analyst

Your New Role

Billings Analyst, based in North Ryde Head Office, in this role you will facilitate accurate and timely NDIS revenue claims ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer documentation is maintained as well as general accounts receivable functions.

The role is full-time office hours, Monday to Friday, with flexible starting and finishing times.

The day to day

  • Invoicing and claiming – ensure timely claiming & invoicing plus and troubleshooting for issues and problems
  • Reconcile and maintain Accounts Receivable / Debtors accounts, ensuring timely payments received from debtors
  • Act as a resource on a regular basis, providing coaching and feedback for team members and other staff within the department.
  • Accounting records: maintain accurate records of revenue in the accounting system, CRM system and other relevant systems on a timely basis.
  • End of month process: manage accruals, general journals, bank reconciliation
  • Debt Management: Manage debt collection Review and monitor debtors aging reports
  • Assist with administrative tasks relating to manual workarounds and other tasks as instructed by the Accounting Manager

What you need to have

  • Experience within the community services sector (desirable)
  • Experience in investigating complex or sensitive matters
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with NDIA Portal and Salesforce software (desirable)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Microsoft Dynamic NAV experience (desirable)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel a must)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and also and in a team environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
